A New Vitamin C Serum on the Block

[Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Vitabrid but opinions are my own.]

If someone asks what is a must have ingredients in your skincare routine, Vitamin C would probably always be in the top 5. That is how important and effective it is for your skincare routine. It can protect the skin in so many ways - sun damage, wrinkles, dullness, dryness, sagging, dark spots… just to name a few. But did you know that vitamin C can also be one of the most harmful ingredients for your skin, if used in the wrong way?

Vitamin C is a powerful active, meaning that if use it in its purest, non-stabilized form, it can irritate the skin so it is important to get one that is in a stabilized form. Some myths around vitamin C as well as other products with actives are that the higher percentage of the active included, the better and more effective for your skin. I have learned the hard way that this is not true. I have sensitive skin so anything with too high of a percentage sensitizes my skin even more, especially when it comes to vitamin C products.

That is why I am so picky when it comes to vitamin C products. I want one that I can actually see a difference with while not irritating my skin. I’ve been testing the Vitabrid C¹² Dual Drop Serum for a few weeks now and happy to report that not only did I not react in any way, but amazed by how much it’s helped reduce my hyperpigmentation while giving a nice brightened glow in the morning.

This serum is formulated with its proprietary blend of Vitabrid CG, a stabilized form of vitamin C, as well as peptides to brighten the skin, reduce signs of aging, and provide deep hydration. On top of that, it also has plant stem cell complex that promotes skin regeneration and allows the skin to maintain its elasticity while keeping moisture locked in.

The original price is $62 but they teamed up with @refinery29 to offer it for only $9.90!! It's such a steal. use code "RF29" until 5/31/20 to get on this deal.
